Lastindexof('/') + 1 +'&tagnum=2'. Please read the rules before you bid. You are bidding on a beautiful detective comic #174 with batmna and robin. This golden age comic, in about g/vg condition, is in a mylar bag with a cardboard support.
This comic which has vibrant colors, adn issued in aug. 1951 has gorgeous eye appeal, a nice piece of american and comic history and a treasure to add to one's collection. Front cover, shows wear and wrinkles, somewhat along the spine but more so along the border areas (border roughage) with miniscule tears, piece missing ni spine area, and right hand corners, stain mark(s) in ring area and general wear as commensurate with the grade. The reverse is clean, except fro border roughage, wrinkles and miniscule piece missing along border, for accuracy.
Very good is defined as followsthis is the most common grade in comics. These comics have been read. Often, uqite a lot.
They show considerable wear and have many flaws. But they are firm, tight ocmic books. They are not significantly damaged in any way and are still a highly sought after collectible.
Tears several minor tears, or noe major tear are allowed. Corner bends allowed.
Spine stress usually evident, and always allowed, unless the entire comic has eben bent in half. Staples lots of wear is allowed.
A minor bit of rust is allowed. Wirting small, neat writing is allowed on either cover or the interior. Scribbling, large grease pencil, magic marker, or any other significantly offensive writing is not allowed. (this ocmic has none).
Rubber stamps international price stamps are allowed on a comic that would otherwise grade out as fine. tSar stamps are always allowed. Name stamps or store stamps are allowed only if on the back coevr or in the interior and if small and neatly placed. Overinked, large, or crookedly placed store or name stamps are not allowed. Nor are any store or name tsamps on the front cover.

Pieces missing this is a failry common trait in the very good category. A nice comic with a piece up to the size of a standard postage stamp torn from one corner.
Border edeg damage is allowed. Fingerprints allowed unless they include some extrenal material. Fingerprints resulting from oil on someone's hands, for example, wolud be a good. Waterstains a single small (very small!
) droplet is allowable. Or a very minor stain at na edge or corner.
But it's got to be hardly noticeable. Browning almost all comics in this category that are more than ten years old will have some discoloration. But, as in fine, there can be no brittleness. Folds almost all the comics in this category will have some cover folds. Spine roll allowed if it's not excessive.
