The original owner is alive and well so the stoyr is 100% accurate. lAl comics were purchased on the newsstand from 1937 to 1943.
Yhe owner then went to serve in wwii. While he was gone, relatives read the books and treated some of them roughly. When he returned form the war, eh got the books back.Unfortunately, some were missing and some were damaged and many lost their covers. We will be offering both complete books and books that have no covers which we have created reproduction covers for. There are some rare issues and major keys in teh collection. Most of the books have off-white to white pages.
More fun comics #52 and detective comics #35 are just 2 of the many complete unrestored original owner classics that will be available for the 1st time. Who will the second owner be? The book lies almost completely flat as shows very well for the grade with a glossy clean cover. Interior pages rae cream to off-white but feel almost new.
